Jordan TB clinic details updated for UK visa applicants

06 Jul 2026

If you live in Jordan and plan to apply for a UK visa lasting more than 6 months, you may need a tuberculosis (TB) test before you apply. GOV.UK updated the clinic contact details for TB testing in Jordan on 3 July 2026.

The approved clinic is the IOM Migration Health Assessment Center (MHAC) on Al Madina Al Monawwara Street, Building number 7, next to Ibn Al Haitham Hospital and behind the Eye Specialty Hospital in Amman. You can book an appointment by emailing [email protected]. Appointments are usually available within 1 to 2 working days, and the test itself takes 2 to 3 hours with same day results.

The test costs 100 USD for adults and 40 USD for children under 11, paid directly to the clinic in local currency or USD. The Home Office only accepts TB certificates from this approved clinic, so a test done anywhere else in Jordan will not be accepted for your UK visa application.

This applies to anyone who is a resident of Jordan and is applying to come to the UK for more than 6 months, whatever visa route you are using. If you are applying soon, book your TB test at the approved clinic first so you have your certificate ready before you submit your visa application.
