SELT test centre lists updated on 25 September 2026
26 Sep 2026
If you need a Secure English Language Test (SELT) for a UK visa, settlement or citizenship, this update is relevant to you. On 25 September 2026, GOV.UK updated its SELT guidance. The update note reads "Updated the lists of approved test centres in and outside the UK."
The page says a full four-skills SELT (reading, writing, speaking and listening) applies to routes including Skilled Worker, Health and Care Worker, Scale-up Worker, Student and Start-up. A speaking and listening test applies to "citizenship, International Sportsperson, parent, partner, Representative of an Overseas Business, settlement (also known as indefinite leave to remain)."
The page does not announce a rule change, a fee or a deadline. It is a routine update to the lists of approved centres. If you plan to book a test, the GOV.UK page is where the current lists are published.
