If you're on a Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa, or hoping to get one, the register of licensed sponsors has been updated again. GOV.UK shows it as last updated on 5 October 2026, with the note "Updated register of licensed sponsors." This is a later refresh than the 2 October update.

The register is a "List of organisations licensed to sponsor workers on the Worker and Temporary Worker immigration routes." Your visa depends on your employer holding a valid sponsor licence. So it's worth checking the register if you're thinking about a job offer or a change of employer.

To check an employer, open the GOV.UK page and use the latest version of the register. Look up the employer's name in the list.
